Abrupt phase change of the core rotation in the ¹⁴³Sm nucleus

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁴Sn(²⁴Mg, 5n), E=107 MeV; measured reaction products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, J, π, branching, level lifetimes and side feeding lifetimes, B(M1), B(E2), high spin dipole sequences. Comparison with available data.
