One- and two-neutron removal cross sections of 24O

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(24O, 23O), (24O, 22O), E=92.3 MeV/nucleon, [secondary 24O beam from 9Be(48Ca, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon primary reaction, and using A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU]; measured reaction products using S800 magnetic spectrograph, time of flight, parallel momentum distributions, and inclusive σ for one- and two-neutron removals. 22,23O; deduced levels, J, π, spectroscopic factors. 24O; deduced spherical, doubly-magic structure. Comparison with eikonal reaction model plus shell model calculations using USD-B interaction and the sd model space.
