Measurement of the ³_ΛH lifetime in Au+Au collisions at the BNL Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(¹⁹⁷Au, X), E=7.7, 11.5, 19.6, 27, 39, 200 GeV; analyzed data from an experiment using time projection chamber (TPC) at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at BNL to detect outgoing charged particles π⁺, π^-, p, d, and ³He. ³_ΛH; reconstructed invariant mass distribution through decay of hypernuclear ³H into two channels ³He+π^- and p+d+π^-; deduced branching ratio for the two decay channels, and half-life of hypertritium. Comparison with previous measurements, and theoretical calculations.
