α decay of the T = 1, 2⁺ state in ¹⁰B and isospin symmetry breaking in the A = 10 triplet

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(¹⁰B, ¹⁰B'), E=10 MeV/nucleon; measured Ep, Ip, ΔE-E particle-identification spectra for α, ⁶Li and ¹⁰B particles, p(¹⁰Be)-, pα(⁶Li)-coin, angular distributions of the 1740-, 2154- and 3587-keV states for protons and for p(¹⁰B) coincidences, α-decay branching ratio of the 5164-keV state in ¹⁰B using HELIOS spectrometer at ATLAS-ANL facility. ¹⁰B; deduced levels, partial Γ_α and Γ_γ, B(E2) for the 5164-keV state. Comparison with B(E2) for ¹⁰Be and ¹⁰C, previous experimental results, and with ab initio Green's function Monte Carlo (GFMC) calculations using realistic three-nucleon Hamiltonians.
