Lifetime measurements in ¹⁶²Dy

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Dy(n, γ), E=thermal neutrons from high flux reactor at the ILL-Grenoble; measured Eγ, Iγ, level half-lives by Gamma-Ray-Induced Doppler (GRID) broadening technique. ¹⁶²Dy; deduced levels, bands, B(E2), B(E1), B(M1), collective quadrupole and octupole vibrational excitations. Comparison with Alaga rule predictions. Systematics of energies and B(E2) values for second 0+ and 2+ states in even-even Z=62-72 and N=84-100 nuclei.
