Single-particle structure at N=29: The structure of 47Ar and first spectroscopy of 45S

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(48K, 47Ar), E=87.5 MeV/nucleon; 12C(46Ar, 47Ar), E=67 MeV/nucleon; 9Be(46Cl, 45S), [secondary 48K, 46Ar and 46Cl beams from 9Be(48Ca, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon primary reaction using A1900 fragment separator at NSCL-MSU]; measured particle identification spectra, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using S800 spectrograph and SeGA array of 32-fold segmented HPGe detectors. 45S, 47Ar; deduced levels, J, π, σ. Detailed calculations for cross sections and spectroscopic factors using Eikonal dynamics for proton-removal, DWBA for neutron pickup, and SDPF-U and SDPF-MU shell-model interactions.
