High energy-resolution measurement of the 82Se(3He, t)82Br reaction for double-beta decay and for solar neutrinos

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 82Se(3He, t), E=420 MeV; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ) using Grand Raiden Spectrometer at RCNP-Osaka cyclotron facility. 82Br; deduced levels, J, π, L-transfer, IAS, 1+ states, Gamow-Teller resonance (GTR), Gamow-Teller strengths B(GT). Distorted-wave (DW) calculations to analyze σ(θ) distributions. 80Se; discussed implications for 2νββ and 0νββ decay modes, possible detector of solar neutrinos; calculated solar neutrino capture rates on 82Se as a function of excitation energy in 82Br from B(GT) values.
