First in-beam γ-ray study of the level structure of neutron-rich 39S
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(36S, 39S), E=215 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, particle spectra, (39S ions)γ coin, mass spectrum of sulfur isotopes in coincidence with γ rays using the magnetic spectrometer PRISMA for particles and CLARA array for γ rays at INFN-Legnaro accelerator facility. 39S; deduced levels, J, π, configurations. Comparison with shell model calculations using SDPF-U effective interaction, and with level structure in N=23 isotones 37Si and 41Ar. Systematics of first 7/2- and 11/2- states in 31,33,35,37,39,41S, 35,37,39,41,43,45Ar.
