Lifetime measurements in ¹⁸⁰Pt

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵⁶Gd(²⁸Si, 4n), E=144 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level half-lives by recoil-distance Doppler shift method using a plunger and differential decay curve analysis at HI-13 tandem accelerator of CIAE-Beijing. ¹⁸⁰Pt; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), transition quadrupole moments for levels in the yrast band. Systematics of B(E2), E(4+)/E(2+) ratios, yrast and γ bands in ^{176,178,180,182,184,186}Pt. Comparison with triaxial projected shell model (TPSM) calculations.
