Photodisintegration of ⁹Be through the 1/2⁺ state and cluster dipole resonance

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁹Be(γ, n), E=1.67-2.11, 5.58-16.11 MeV, [γ beam from Compton backscattering of CO₂ laser photons with relativistic electrons]; measured Eγ, E(n), I(n), σ(Eγ) at the NewSUBARU synchrotron radiation facility; deduced Breit-Wigner parameters of B(E1), Γ_γ, and Γ_n for 1/2+ state, energy and strength of cluster dipole resonance (CDR). Comparison with the cluster dipole sum rule, and with previous experimental results.
