Spectroscopy of narrow, high-lying, low-spin states in ²⁰Ne

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²²Ne(p, t), E=60 MeV; measured triton spectra, σ(θ) using QDD magnetic spectrometer at iThemba Labs. ²⁰Ne; deduced levels, J, π, possible 5α cluster state, isospin T=2 states in ²⁰Ne, ²⁰O and ²⁰F. Comparison of angular distributions with calculations using FRESCO code, and structure data with shell-model calculations using OXBASH code.
