Spectroscopy of ²³²U in the (p, t) reaction: More information on 0⁺ excitations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²³⁴U(p, t), E=25 MeV; measured E(t), I(t), σ(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrograph facility at the Munich Tandem accelerator. ²³²U; deduced levels, several 0+ states, J, π, bands, moment of inertia plots, B(E1)/B(E1) and B(E1)/B(E2) ratios. CHUCK3 analysis and DWBA calculations. Comparison with evaluated data in Nuclear Data Sheets. Comparison with interacting boson model (IBM-spdf) and quasiparticle-phonon model (QPM) calculations. Systematics of energies, (p, t) strengths and density distribution of excited 0+ states in ²³²U, ^228,230Th and ¹⁵⁴Gd.
