Identification of the 0+ proton pairing vibration state in the doubly magic nucleus 208Pb by particle spectroscopy
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 208Pb(p, p'), E=14.8-18.2 MeV; 208Pb(d, d'), E=22, 24 MeV; 206,207,208Pb(d, p), E=22, 24 MeV; measured particle spectra, σ(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrograph at the MLL-Garching. 208Pb; deduced levels, J, π, levels populated via IAR in 209Bi, configuration mixings, discovery of 0+ proton-pairing vibrational state. Comparison with data from (α, α') experiments and evaluated data in the ENSDF database.
