Precision half-life measurement of the β⁺ decay of ³⁷K

RADIOACTIVITY ³⁷K(β⁺)[from ¹H(³⁸Ar, 2n), E=29 MeV/nucleon, followed by separation using MARS apparatus at Texas A-M cyclotron facility]; measured Eβ, Iβ, precise half-life of ³⁷K ground state using a 4π continuous-gas-flow proportional counter and a fast tape-transport system; deduced improved logft value, and V_ud parameter. Comparison with previous experimental studies.
