Quadrupole-octupole coupled states in 112Cd populated in the 111Cd(d(pol), p) reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 111Cd(polarized d, p), E=22 MeV; measured E(p), I(p), σ(θ), vector analyzing powers Ay(θ) using Q3D magnetic spectrograph at TMU-Munich accelerator facility. 112Cd; deduced levels, L-transfers, J, π, B(E2), configurations, spectroscopic strength. DWBA and ADWA analysis of σ(θ) and Ay(θ) data. Comparison with other experimental results. Systematics of energies and B(E2) values for 5- and 6- states in 106,108,110,112,114,116,118,120,122,124Cd; and discussion of quadrupole-octupole (QOC) two-phonon quintuplet states.
