Nucleosynthesis of ²⁶Al in massive stars: New ²⁷Al states above α and neutron emission thresholds

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁷Al(p, p'), E=18 MeV; measured E(p), I(p), using Enge split-pole spectrometer at Tandem-Alto facility in Orsay. ²⁷Al; deduced levels, resonances above neutron and alpha thresholds. Relevance to ²⁶Al nucleosynthesis in massive stars and estimates of thermonuclear reaction rates.
