High-spin structures of ¹³⁸₅₇La₈₁

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²³⁸U(¹²C, F), E=90 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγγ-coin, Eγ from complementary ^101,102Nb fragments, isomer half-life using Euroball array at Legnaro XTU Tandem accelerator facility. ¹³⁸La; deduced high-spin levels, isomer, J, π, multipolarity, configurations. Comparison with shell-model (SM) calculations, and with previous experimental data. ^101,102Nb; measured intensity ratios of two γ rays in doubly gated spectra with ^137,138,139La γ rays.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE ¹³⁸La; calculated levels, J, π, seniority-2 basis states using shell model with SN100PN effective interaction. Comparison with experimental data from this paper and previous data from ¹³⁹La(d, t) reaction.
