Peripheral elastic and inelastic scattering of 17, 18O on light targets at 12 MeV/nucleon
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 13C(17O, 18O), E=12 MeV/nucleon; 12C(18O, 18O), (18O, 18O'), E=216 MeV; 13C(17O, 17O), (17O, 17O'), E=204 MeV; measured particle spectra, σ, σ(θ). 12C(16O, 16O), E=18 MeV/nucleon; analyzed previous σ(θ) data; deduced form factors, optical model parameters, WKB scattering amplitude, semiclassical absorption profile for WS potential, Argand diagram for S-matrix. Analysis by semimicroscopic double folding form factors, using six different approximations for the NN effective interactions. DWBA analysis of σ(θ) data. 17,18O; deduced levels, J, π, deformation parameters. Relevance of 13C(17O, 18O) transfer reaction in deducing direct capture rates in 17F(p, γ)18Ne reaction of astrophysical importance, and influence on abundances of 15O, 17F, 18F and 18Ne.
