Observation of a breakup-induced α-transfer process for some bound states of ¹⁶O populated by the ¹²C⁶Li, d)¹⁶O^* reaction

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(⁶Li, d)¹⁶O*, E=20 MeV; measured deuteron spectra, σ(θ) at 15UD Pelletron facility of IUAC. ¹⁶O; deduced levels, α-unbound states, J, π, spectroscopic amplitudes, S(α) spectroscopic factors. ¹²C(α, γ); deduced astrophysical E2 S factor. Comparison with R-matrix FR-DWBA, Hauser-Feshbach, and Continuum discretized coupled-channel coupled reaction channel (CDCC-CRC) calculations with and without the inclusion of the breakup of ⁶Li. Comparison with previous experimental results.
