Unexpected 5/2^- spin of the ground state in ¹⁴⁷Ba: No octupole deformation in ground states of odd-A Ba isotopes

RADIOACTIVITY ²⁴⁸Cm(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using EUROGAM2 array. ¹⁴⁷Ba; deduced levels, J, π, bands, multipolarity, alignments. Discussed parity doublets and octupole bands.
