β decay of 61Mn to levels in 61Fe

RADIOACTIVITY 61Mn(β-)[from 238U(p, F), E=1.4 GeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, βγ-coin, βγ(t), T1/2 of 61Mn g.s., upper limit of P(n) to first 2+ state in 60Fe at ISOLDE, CERN facility. Laser ionization and mass separation of 61Mn beam. 61Fe; deduced levels, J, π, β feedings, logft. Comparison with shell-model calculations. Systematics of ground and first excited states in 24,26,28,30,32,34,36Mn.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 59,61Fe; calculated levels J, π using shell model with GXPF1A and pf(g0) interactions. Comparison with experimental data.
