Observation of a second πh_11/2 (X) ν_11/2 band in ¹²⁶La

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹¹⁶Sn(¹⁴N, 4n), E=77 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO) at CIAE facility. ¹²⁶La; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, multipolarity, bands, configurations, alignment plot, B(M1)/B(E2), energy staggering parameter. Systematics of band structures and energy staggering parameters in ^{124,126,128,130,132,134}La. Comparison with cranked shell model (CSM) calculations.
