Elastic scattering of protons from ⁹C with a 290 MeV/nucleon ⁹C beam

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(⁹C, ⁹C), E=277-300 MeV/nucleon, [⁹C secondary beam from ⁹Be(¹²C, X), E=430 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured proton spectra, (⁹C)p-coin, kinematical correlations between angle and energy of recoil protons, excitation energy spectrum of ⁹C, σ(θ) at HIMAC-NIRS facility. Relativistic impulse approximation analysis, ⁹C; deduced root-mean square matter radius. Comparison with RH and MAMD calculations.
