Yrast excitations in the neutron-rich N=52 isotones

RADIOACTIVITY 252Cf(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using Gammasphere array at ANL. 88Kr; deduced levels, J, π, mixing ratio, multipolarity. 248Cm, 252Cf(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using Gammasphere array for 252Cf, and Eurogam2 array in a previous experiment for 248Cm. 86Se; deduced levels, J, π. 160Sm, 162Gd; observed γ rays from γγ-coin with complementary fission fragments. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and systematics of N=52 even-even nuclei.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 82Zn, 84Ge, 86Se, 88Kr, 90Sr, 94Mo, 96Ru; calculated levels, J, π using shell model. Systematics of yrast states up to 8+ of even-even N=52 Ge, Se, Kr, Sr, Zr, Mo and Ru nuclei. 82Zn; predicted energies of first 2+ and 4+ states from systematics. Comparison with experimental data.
