β-delayed fission of 192, 194At

RADIOACTIVITY 192At(β+F)[from 144Sm(51V, 3n), E=230 MeV]; 194At(β+F)[from 141Pr(56Fe, 3n), E=259 MeV]; measured fission fragments, total energy spectrum, (fragment)γ-coin, T1/2 using recoil-fission correlation technique at SHIP facility in GSI. 192,194Po; deduced upper limits on TKE, β-delayed fission (βDF) probabilities. Discussed unusually high β-delayed fission probability for 192At. 194At(β+F)[from 144Sm(52Cr, pn), E=236 MeV]; analyzed fission fragment spectra; deduced T1/2.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 141Pr(56Fe, xn)193At/194At/195At, E=230-270 MeV; measured α spectra for 193,194,195At, and delayed fission spectra for 194At, σ(E).
