γ-ray spectroscopy of the odd-odd N=Z+2 deformed proton emitter ¹¹²Cs

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁵⁸Ni(⁵⁸Ni, 3np)¹¹²Cs, E=260 MEV; measured Eγ, Iγ, pγ-, γγ-coin, Ep, half-life, recoil-decay tagging method using Gammasphere array at ATLAS facility. ¹¹²Cs; deduced high-spin levels, J, π, band, multipolarity, configuration, alignment plots. Systematics of excitation energies, quadrupole deformation and alignments in A=110-126 odd-odd Cs isotopes, cranked shell model (CSM) calculations. ^109,111Sb, ^{109,110,111,112}Te, ^112,113I; measured Eγ from competing channels.

RADIOACTIVITY ¹¹²Cs(p)[from ⁵⁸Ni(⁵⁸Ni, 3np), E=260 MEV]; measured E(p), I(p), Eγ, Iγ, half-life. Evidence for fine structure in ¹¹²Cs proton decay. ¹¹¹Xe; deduced possible level. ¹⁰⁹I, ¹¹³Cs(p); measured E(p).
