Hindered decays from a non-yrast four-quasiparticle isomer in ¹⁶⁴Er

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁶⁰Gd(⁹Be, 5n), E=57 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, isomer half-life by γ(t) using CAESAR array at ANU facility. ¹⁶⁴Er; deduced levels, J, π, bands, total conversion coefficients, configurations, branching ratio, hindrance factor, forbiddenness. Highly K-forbidden γ-ray transitions. Systematics of E2 and E3 reduced-hindrance factors in ¹⁶⁴Er, ¹⁷⁴Yb, ^{174,175,176,177,178}Hf, ^{174,176,179,180,181}W, ¹⁷⁹Ta, ^182,183,184Os.
