γ-ray spectroscopy of neutron-deficient ¹²³Ce

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁶⁴Zn(⁶⁴Zn, nα), E=260 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, γγ(particle)-coin, γγ(θ)(ADO) using Gammasphere array, Microball array and Neutron Wall at ATLAS facility in ANL. ¹²³Ce; deduced levels, J, π, rotational bands, multipolarity, deformation parameters β₂, γ and β₄, alignments, configurations. ⁷⁴Br, ¹¹⁹Ba, ^121,122La, ¹²²Ce; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) in nuclei formed in competing channels. Comparison with Total Routhian surface (TRS) and cranked shell-model (CSM) calculations. Systematics of bands and alignments in ^{122,123,124,125,127,129}Ce, and ^122,123La.
