Unveiling the Intruder Deformed 0₂⁺ State in ³⁴Si

RADIOACTIVITY ³⁴Al(β^-) [from Be(³⁶S, X)³⁴Al, E=77.5 MeV/nucleon]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ, Eβ, Iβ; deduced transition electric monopole strength, level energy and T_1/2, deformation parameter, B(E2). Comparison with shell model calculations and available data.
