Simultaneous deorientation and lifetime measurement in 98Ru using the recoil distance Doppler shift method in inverse Coulomb excitation
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 24Mg(98Ru, 98Ru'), E=300 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, particle spectra, angular distribution and deorientation, particle-γ coin, half-lives of first 2+ and 4+ states by Recoil distance Doppler shift (RDDS) method using New Yale Plunger Device and YRAST ball array. Coulomb excitation in inverse kinematics. 98Ru; deduced levels, B(E2) values. Comparison with theoretical calculations and previous works, systematics of B(E2) values for first 2+ and 4+ states in A=96-122 (even) Ru, and N=54, Z=40-48 (even) nuclei.
