Absolute β-to-ground band transition strengths in ¹⁵⁴Sm

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(¹⁵⁴Sm, ¹⁵⁴Sm'), E=570 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ) in Coulomb excitation using Gammasphere array at ATLAS facility in ANL. ¹⁵⁴Sm; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarity, mixing ratio, absolute B(E2), bands, level half-lives. Comparison with confined β-soft rotor model (CBS) and X(5) predictions.
