Half-life of the I^π = 4^- intruder state in ³⁴P: M2 transition strengths approaching the island of inversion

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁸O(¹⁸O, pn), E=36 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, level half-life by γγ(t). ³⁴P; deduced levels, J, π, B(M2), B(E3). Comparison with shell-model calculations.
