Observation of mutually enhanced collectivity in self-conjugate 7638SR38

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 9Be(76Rb, 76Sr), E=104.5 MeV/nucleon; 9Be (78Rb, 78Sr), E=101.6 MeV/nucleon; measured time-of-flight and energy loss for outgoing particles, Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using SeGA array at NSCL, MSU facility, half-lives of first 2+ states by line-shape method. 76,78Rb secondary beams from 9Be(78Kr, X), E=140 MeV/nucleon primary beam. 76,78Sr; deduced levels, J, π, yrast bands, B(E2), deformation parameter. Systematics of energies and B(E2) values for first 2+ states in Z=30-40 and N=34-46 even-even nuclei. Comparison of B(E2) values with predictions from the CHFB+5DCH calculations.
