Measurement of the transverse polarization of electrons emitted in free neutron decay

RADIOACTIVITY 1n(β-); measured components of transverse polarization of electrons emitted in the β decay of polarized, free neutrons using Mott Scattering; deduced T-odd and P-odd correlation coefficient. Comparison with predictions of Standard model. Discussed implications for leptoquark exchange model and the minimal supersymmetric model with R-parity violation.
