Experimental study of resonant states in 27P via elastic scattering of 26Si+p

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 1H(26Si, p), [26Si beam from 3He(24Mg, X), E=7.5 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=132.8 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, time-of-flight. 27P; deduced levels, resonances, J, π, l-value, widths using R-matrix analysis. 26Si(p, γ); deduced reaction rates of astrophysical interest. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and level structure of 27Mg mirror nucleus.
