Experimental study of resonant states in ²⁷P via elastic scattering of ²⁶Si+p

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(²⁶Si, p), [²⁶Si beam from ³He(²⁴Mg, X), E=7.5 MeV/nucleon primary reaction], E=132.8 MeV; measured Ep, Ip, time-of-flight. ²⁷P; deduced levels, resonances, J, π, l-value, widths using R-matrix analysis. ²⁶Si(p, γ); deduced reaction rates of astrophysical interest. Comparison with shell-model calculations, and level structure of ²⁷Mg mirror nucleus.
