Isovector soft dipole mode in ⁶Be

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹H(⁶Li, ⁶Be), E=47 MeV/nucleon; measured reaction products. ⁶Be; deduced σ(θ), J, π, population of continuum states by detecting α+p+p coincidences, negative parity states, isovector soft dipole mode associated with the ⁶Li ground state. Comparison with Monte-Carlo calculations.
