NUCLEAR REACTIONS 154Sm(α, 3n), E=35 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using AFRODITE spectrometer. 154,155Gd deduced bands, γ vibration, quadrupole pairing forces, oblate orbitals, blocking of collective modes.
