Congruent band structures in ¹⁵⁴Gd : Configuration-dependent pairing, a double vacuum and lack of β-vibrations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁵²Sm(α, 2n), E=25 MeV;¹⁵⁴Sm(α, 4n), E=45 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, polarization using spectrometer array AFRODITE; deduced levels, J, π, bands, rotational bands. Levels and bands compared to ¹⁵²Sm.
