Near-yrast, medium-spin structure of ¹⁴³Xe

RADIOACTIVITY ²⁴⁸Cm(SF); measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ), using EUROGAM-2 array. ¹⁴³Xe; deduced levels, J, π, conversion coefficients, multipolarity, bands, configurations. Comparison with quasiparticle-rotor model calculations with a reflection-symmetric potential. Systematics of bandheads of N=89 nuclei.
