Medium-spin states in ⁷⁰Ge and the role of the g_9/2 orbital

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁶⁰Ni(¹²C, 2p), E=45 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, and γ(θ). ⁷⁰Ge; deduced levels, J, π, multipolarity, and bands. Comparison with shell model calculations using G-matrix and EPQQM interactions, and with structures of ^66,68Ge.
