How close to the O(6) symmetry is the nucleus ¹²⁴Xe?

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C(¹²⁴Xe, ¹²⁴Xe'), E=394 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin using DSA technique and the Gammasphere array. ¹²⁴Xe; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2). Comparison with interacting boson model.
