Candidate chiral bands in ¹⁹⁸Tl

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹⁹⁷Au(α, 3n), E=40 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ), E(ce), I(ce), (ce)γ-coin, γγ-coin, polarization anisotropy. ¹⁹⁸Tl; deduced γ transitions, multipolarities, internal-conversion X-rays, levels, J, π, B(M1), B(E2) for yrast and side bands; calculated levels, J, π, B(M1), B(E2) for yrast and side bands, rotation-angular momentum angle.
