Rotational alignments in 235Np and the possible role of j15/2 neutrons

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 237Np(116Sn, 118Sn)235Np, E=801 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (particle)γ-, (fragment)( fragment)γ-coin, and angular distribution of γ-ray yields for 116Sn, 117Sn and 118Sn using the Gammasphere and CHICO arrays. 235Np; deduced levels, J, π, bands, angular momentum, moment of inertia as functions of rotational frequency, configurations. 116,117,118Sn; measured Eγ, γγ-coin. Comparison with cranked shell-model calculations and with alignment plots for 237Np and 241Am.
