Band crossings in ¹⁶⁶Ta

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²⁰Sn(⁵¹V, 5n), E=235 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ) using Gammasphere array. ¹⁶⁶Ta; deduced levels, J, π, rotational bands, alignments and B(M1)/B(E2) ratios. Comparison of alignments with those in ¹⁶⁵Hf bands. Comparison with theoretical B(M1)/B(E2) ratios.
