High-spin proton alignments and coexisting coupling schemes in 168Hf

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 96Zr(76Ge, 4n), E=310 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γγ(θ)(DCO) using Gammasphere array. 168Hf; deduced levels, J, π, bands, multipolarity, B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, configurations, and enhanced deformation band. Comparison with cranked shell-model calculations.
