First experimental test of X(5) critical-point symmetry in the A ∼ 130 mass region: Low-spin states and the collective structure of ¹³⁰Ce

RADIOACTIVITY ¹³⁰Pr(β⁺)(EC) [from ¹⁰⁷Ag(²⁷Al, p3n), E=113 MeV]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹³⁰Ce; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), comparison with calculations using X(5) and IBA models.
