Identification of a pairing isomeric band in ¹⁵²Sm

RADIOACTIVITY ^152,152mEu(EC) [from ¹⁵¹Eu(n, γ)]; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin. ¹⁵²Sm deduced levels, J, π, rotational band, pairing isomer.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁸Pb(¹⁵²Sm, ¹⁵²Sm'), E=652 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, (particle)γ-, γγ-coin following projectile Coulomb excitation. ¹⁵²Sm deduced levels, J, π, B(E2), rotational band, pairing isomer. Gammasphere, Chico arrays, level systematics in neighboring nuclides discussed.
