NUCLEAR REACTIONS 14C(48Ca, nα), E=130 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (recoil)γ-coin. 57Cr deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations. Gammasphere array, mass separator.

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 55,57,59Cr; analyzed levels; deduced deformation, core polarization effects. Total Routhian surface calculations.
