High-spin behavior of multiple bands in the N = Z + 1 nucleus 81Zr: A possible probe of enhanced neutron-proton correlations

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 58Ni(28Si, nα), (24Mg, n2p), E=90 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-, (charged particle)γ-coin. 79Sr, 81Zr deduced high-spin levels, J, π, configurations. GASP, ISIS arrays, comparison with projected shell model predictions.
