NUCLEAR REACTIONS 158Gd(n, γ), E=thermal; measured Eγ, Iγ. 158Gd(d, p), E=18 MeV; 160Gd(d, t), E=25 MeV; measured Ep, triton spectra, σ(E, θ). 160Gd(polarized d, t), E=22 MeV; measured triton spectra, σ(E, θ), Ay(θ). 160Gd(d, t), E=25 MeV; measured triton spectra. 159Gd deduced levels, J, π, spectroscopic factors, rotational bands, configurations. Comparison with quasiparticle-phonon and quasiparticle-rotor model predictions. Level systematics in neighboring nuclides compared.
